Girls engineering has been going on for five years. Parents organized this to make girls interested in science and just hang out in general. We do all sorts of awesome projects that let these girls have a pretty wide skill set.

As a group we have designed and built 20' climbing towers, sewn clothing with conductive thread and LEDs, tasted the science of candy chemistry with Skittles and M&Ms, built marble mazes to see just how slow a marble could roll, and, disssected sheeps' hearts as we learned about our own hearts.

Each monthly workshop brings us together around science, creativity, discovery, and friendship.
